What should I Do? I have to come up with a dance or dance plan for a Christmas recital for my Japanese Class.?
I take a Japanese class, with kids aging from 10-15. We have this Christmas thing where we do something. We decided on dancing, but no one has ideas. I had an idea that the boys would have samurai swords and dance with them while the girls would dance simultaneously with fans. I personally would like to do an anime dance like Hare Hare Yukai, but it was denied. Can anyone help me please, i am looking for names of dances that have steps that are easy to follow and shorter than 7 minutes. I looked but could not find anything and i don’t think there are many Japanese dances that are easy to learn in well . . . three days. Yeah three classes to come up with something. I feel like i’m screwed. Can anyone come to the rescue?
If it comes down to it any dance that is age appropriate and easy to learn should be fine.
Do Mekshikan Samba (Mexican Samba) ITS SOOOOOO Popular in Japan and easy to learn, plus it would be useful since people do it at Japanese weddings. Fans and swords sounds so trite!
Anime would have been cool but this should be fun.
